Cookies and browser storage

Updated November 1, 2026. This page describes storage used by the privacy control on apndfw.com. Read it with our website privacy update and existing privacy policy.

Remembering your choice

The control uses first-party browser localStorage, under the name care-preferences:apndfw.com, to remember your purpose choices, notice version and expiry. It does not store your name, email, telephone number or form answers.

Choices are valid for 30 days. The stored entry may remain after expiry until it is replaced or cleared, but an expired choice is not treated as current permission. You can change your choice using Privacy preferences or remove the entry through your browser settings. Clearing storage means you may be asked again.

Optional analytics and advertising

Our Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and advertising tags are disabled in this release, whichever optional preference you save. This privacy control does not create an analytics visitor identifier or send measurement events. A later measurement release will require updated information and a new choice.

Embedded forms and maps

The contact-page form loads automatically; popup forms load when opened. The Google map loads only after you choose its load control. Their providers may use cookies or other storage when their content is loaded. You can use your browser controls to manage that storage; blocking it may affect the provider's form or map. The website preference control cannot erase storage on another provider's domain.

Browser signals and existing storage

Optional measurement remains off regardless of browser Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control settings. This update does not erase cookies set by earlier visits or recall information previously sent. You can remove existing cookies and site data in your browser settings.
